Deep Purple is  dark in clear melt and pour base.  In opaque and cp soaps it will naturally be lighter and more pastel.  This gel will color at least 20 lbs of soap per ounce.

Stable in melt and pour soap projects, can fade out completely in high pH and tends to fade out of bath salts completely as well. This is a "bleeding" dye.
Approved for use in all cosmetics except eye area products. Coloring of lipsticks and lip cosmetics is limited to a maximum concentration of 3% by weight.
